This is the busiest month the city has seen in years. The World Cup lands in Toronto for the first time ever, three of the best street festivals take over the west end, the Jays play 18 home games, and the stadiums are stacked with concerts. Here's everything worth leaving the house for.
FIFA World Cup 26
Six matches at BMO Field — running as “Toronto Stadium” for the tournament — at Exhibition Place. June 12 is the first-ever men's World Cup match on Canadian soil. There's also a free FIFA Fan Festival at Fort York & The Bentway with live broadcasts all month. All times Eastern.

Wed Jun 17, 7:00 PM Ghana vs Panama (Group L) — BMO Field
Sat Jun 20, 4:00 PM Germany vs Côte d'Ivoire (Group E) — BMO Field. Four-time champions in town.
Tue Jun 23, 7:00 PM Panama vs Croatia (Group L) — BMO Field. 2018 finalists Croatia.
Fri Jun 26, 3:00 PM Senegal vs Iraq — BMO Field
Thu Jul 2, 7:00 PM Round of 32 (Knockout) — BMO Field. Group K runner-up vs Group L runner-up. Just over the line into July, but worth flagging.
Street Festivals
Patio season is officially open. These are the big west-end weekends — go hungry.
June 5–7 (Fri–Sun) Do West Fest (Dundas West Fest) — Sixteen car-free blocks of Dundas St W through Little Portugal — live music, neighbourhood food, art and patios. Shaw/Ossington to Lansdowne. Free.
June 12–14 (Fri–Sun) Taste of Little Italy — College St turns into a piazza between Bathurst and Shaw — wood-fired pizza, gelato, extended patios, music stages and carnival rides. Free.
June 3–28 (All month) Luminato Festival — The city's big multi-arts festival, marking its 20th anniversary. Performances, installations and free events across multiple venues.
June 19–28 (10 days) TD Toronto Jazz Festival — International and local acts, outdoor sets and intimate shows downtown — Koerner Hall, Danforth Music Hall and more.
June 25–28 (Parade Sun Jun 28) Pride Toronto — Pride Month runs all June, building to festival weekend and one of North America's largest parades down Yonge St on the Sunday. Free.
Blue Jays at Home
18 games at Rogers Centre. Three weekend series worth circling: the Yankees (Jun 12–14), the Astros, and a four-game Rangers set. All times Eastern.

One thing to know: with the World Cup in town, expect road closures, packed transit and higher hotel and rideshare prices across the month — especially around Exhibition Place on match days. Book tickets early, take the GO or TTC where you can, and always double-check dates and times with the venue before heading out, as schedules can shift.
